Referring Your Patients To Us

We provide a reliable out-of-hours emergency dental service designed to support both patients and dental practices across Edinburgh. Our doors are open 7 days a week, from 7:00 am to 11:45 pm. If you are unable to see a patient whether due to practice hours, capacity, or the nature of the emergency — we would be happy to accept the referral.

Our emergency service is available to all patients, regardless of whether they are registered with our practice. We focus on diagnosing and treating the immediate problem to relieve pain and prevent further damage, before referring the patient back to their regular dentist for ongoing care. A full copy of all clinical notes is provided so that you have everything you need to continue treatment seamlessly.

How a Referral Works

If your practice is closed for the evening, weekend, or bank holiday, or if your appointment book is full and a patient requires urgent attention, simply direct them to us. We welcome referrals from dental practices across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, including Leith, Morningside, Musselburgh, Dalkeith, Livingston, and throughout the Lothians.

Our team will assess the patient, carry out the necessary treatment to stabilise their condition, and ensure they are comfortable before sending them back to your care with detailed clinical notes.
